University Council meeting, April 23, 2026
On Thursday, April 23, 2026, the University Rector presided over an expanded meeting of the University Council.
In his welcoming remarks, the Rector commended the efforts made and extended his sincere congratulations to the outstanding students who received the "Five-Star Student" certificate. The meeting included a ceremony to award these students their certificates, recognizing their excellence and exemplary academic performance. During his address, the Rector emphasized the necessity of everyone working together as a team to ensure the academic year concludes under the best possible conditions. He also stressed the administration's top priority of accelerating the transition to a "Fourth-Generation University" model, which will ensure the university keeps pace with modern technological and scientific advancements.
- The meeting also included in-depth discussions on various agenda items, most notably security and hygiene on campus, as well as strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship mechanisms. In this context, the Vice-Rectors responsible for pedagogy, external relations, postgraduate studies, and development and foresight presented periodic reports on their respective departments and the strategic projects to be implemented at the university level.
- At the conclusion of the meeting, the University Rector reiterated the need for concerted efforts and continued diligent work to enhance the university's performance and prioritize innovation and digitalization, thereby ensuring high-quality education and a leading university environment.
