Structured Objective Clinical Assessment Examinations (ECOS) Held for Third-Year Medical Students at Skikda University

On June 9, 2026, the Medical Annex at Skikda University hosted the Structured Objective Clinical Assessment Examinations (ECOS) for third-year medical students.

The examinations were inaugurated by the University Rector, Professor Boufendi Toufik, who expressed his appreciation for the meticulous organization and high level of professionalism that characterized this important academic event. The process was conducted under the precise scientific supervision of Professor Makhlouf, Head of Simulation at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Annaba, and in direct coordination with Dr. Bachkar Iman, Head of the Medical Annex at Skikda University.

A select group of hospital physicians from the Faculty of Medicine in Annaba collaborated to oversee the examinations through a series of assessment stations that ran from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Students underwent a rigorous evaluation designed to measure their skills and ability to make medical decisions in a realistic professional environment.
